Why we built
anecNote.

AnecNote started with a frustrating observation: teachers see the moments that matter every single day, and almost none of them survive to the end of the week. The noticing is not the problem. The writing it down is.

Sticky notes don't survive the week.

Notebooks, sticky notes, a spreadsheet you fill in on Sunday. They all ask a teacher to stop teaching and write, so the record gets postponed to the exact moment you have the least will to resist it. The note gets postponed, then rewritten from memory, and the detail that mattered is gone.

So we made it a sentence.

AnecNote takes a single spoken sentence. You say what you saw, and it files the record against the right student and domain, in evidence-based language you can hand to a parent. The moment is captured while you are still standing in it. That is the whole point: the difference between a record you meant to write and one that actually exists.

What we believe.

Fifteen seconds, not fifteen minutes

Documentation has to fit between activities, or it will not happen at all.

Teachers own their notes

Your records are yours. Leaders see coverage, never the private text of an observation.

Responsible AI, no guessing

Anec Assist organises what you said. It never invents evidence you did not observe, and you approve every record.

Calm by design

No streaks, no nagging, no dashboards that shame you. Just the record, filed, and your evening back.

Get your evenings back.

Fifteen seconds in the moment. A finished record at the end of the week.
